I could almost agree to licensing every gun owner, if every VOTER were licensed.
A licensed voter should have the same level of self control, knowledge & competence as gun owners are required to have with their weapons.
Ballots are greater than bullets, historically have led to greater destruction, and should be handled with greater care.
Before you get angry and indignant about 'voter's rights' you should know this, the natural right to self protection (keeping and bearing arms) is protected from infringement by the 2nd Amendment.
There is no constitutional right to vote.
